Reinstalled FNV, and well, it requests installation in launch menu

I installed the mod FreeSide Open (this mod isn't the problem) I had it for a while then removed it, only to have the blue bus dividing Freeside to be invisible. In turn I reinstalled FNV. In the game folder I see my fake full screen, old FNV 4GB (for fake full screen), script extender in the folder: https://gyazo.com/282ca556be97e6361ebc41362e8c50e5

Then I try to launch the game via NMM's launch NVSE, did not work, so I tried launching through the fake full screen. Both giving me this: https://gyazo.com/e8ad2973da42b5933e6b66dfa62eb717

I would like to keep the mods I manually put into the game, if there is a solution to keep them in that would be amazing.

but if there is no other way to fix it than to start from scratch, well I guess I'll have to swallow my pride!

Thank you for taking the time to read my dribble of my stupid mistake!

Try renaming both the INI files in the "C:\Users\<YourAccountName>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV" folder, and let the game rebuild them. You need to use the vanilla launcher the first time after you reinstall (so it will rebuild your hardware information), and then quit back to the desktop, before you can use FNV4GB (which will automatically detect and launch NVSE). (This appears to be why you get that message.)

You need to have the Steam Client (which is separate from the game) running, but it can be minimized. You do not have to launch the game from the Steam Client. You can click on a shortcut to FNV4GB.
