icmojo
Many of us play more than TES RPGs. I would like to be able to let my Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening hero go walk-about. He's tired and in need of a vacation and heard such wonderful things about the land of the Nords that he decided to go there on holiday. Unfortunately, he seems to have been caught up in the net that captured some sort of brigand leader... I've used the console to create an avatar that has a limited amount of the skills I'd worked on specifically in DA:O-A (i.e. Lockpick, Stealth, etc.), but I think a nice .NET applet could make this a neat toy for many of the other genre looking to bring their buddy into the Skyrim world. I'm no programmer, so I haven't any idea how difficult it would be to export a DA:O char and import a like-skilled PC into TESV. Is this too far afield for the community? I am mostly a lurker here, so I don't really know if this is an acceptable idea. I'd gotten my coercion to the 4th bar in the skill tree in DA:O-A so I upped my speech to 40. My stealth was maxed, so I increased it to 50. You can see the progression. One side effect was the increase in levels before actually doing anything. I'm not sure how this helps or hurts the game play, yet I found that the Adept setting wasn't as challenging as I'd expected. I had expected the NPC levels to increase to reflect my level, increasing the setting solved this issue (and then some :) )
