[Request/idea] Playable pool table. (Will this nightmare ever end...)

Ever since Fallout 3 and so on (Fallout New vegas and Fallout 4). Always seeing those pool tables felt awful as how any fellow fallout player found out that the pool tables were unplayable. Adding to that grief in Fallout 3 you can collect pool balls only as miscellaneous items with no purpose given just as to tease the player that they can't play there beloved pool table, but just for show. This inducing nightmare that continues from Fallout New Vegas and to present Fallout 4. I request to you great minds of the modding community to make this cursed Pool table that has been unplayable for 7 years to once and for all be playable. A request that of course will surely be no simple of a task to complete, but will bring of an end to the seven year curse that plagued this pool table unplayable. If its possible to tackle on this curse. So please, warriors, make this far-fetched dream of every fallout player become a reality...will this curse...ever end...

Having it be actually playable as an actual game might be too much scripting for Fallout 4 to handle.

But I do think it would be nice to have the illusion of a playable pool game at least. An animated object that has the look of a game being played if you or any other npc interacts with it. you see the balls moving around as the npcs hit them with the pool sticks, so it looks and feels like a pool game is being played. Even though you can't play a proper pool game on it.

To me this would be a really good compromise. Oh, what if we added the function from the slot machine that we get in the vault-tech dlc? That way it would double as an gambling object that increases the settlement's happiness.

Hey I've seen pilotable vertibirds in New Vegas and Driveable cars. XRE was even working on a guided rocket.

It's been talked about before but never done. First and foremost some reanimation will have to be done for the pool cue so it can be used properly.

Second I think the billiards will have to be smoothed out. You can pick one and fling into another one and they'll react a little bit but they wont roll too far.

Someone suggested micro explosions that could provide enough force to push the billiards around. I'm thinking new collisions will have to be made to keep things rolling correctly and falling into the pockets.

But I don't know anything about these things. I've just been watching a lot of mod developers do their thing and you'd be amazed at some of the stuff they can do.

I think Fallout 4 will kill a lot of the innovations with the rampant mod theft, poor modding tools, etc. Of course I really think that when push comes to shove a lot of the guilds of mod development will get together and make some kind of program for themselves... but that's just a wild fantasy I suppose.
