Hello everyone on Nexus forums, this isnt a bug or problem about a mod just a question of mine regarding mods,if Im posting this in the wrong section please correct me.

So I have used a bunch of mods that I personally find useful but my PC isnt somewhat "new".The reason Im making this topic is to ask you guys what mods I should use with my current PC specs and what you recommend me.

For now, here are my specs: Also Im running the game on medium settings without AA and using FXAA and my FPS issues werent that bad.

SPECS:

OS : Windows 7 SP 1 32 bit

Video card : NVIDIA GEforce 8600 GT

Processor :

CPU Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2388 MHz

2 GB RAM

also I have the latest update of my video card.

MODS IM USING ATM :

Immersive HudiHud

HQ retextured Shields

Retextured Wolves and pelts

Lush Grass

Improved NPC Clothing -High Res

STEP - Skyrim Total Enhancement Project ICCC+ENB

Enhanced Distant Terrain

Tytanis-The Ultimate Mod

Enhanced Distant Trees

Glowing Ore Veins 300

Hi-res Pelts

HD Furniture and barrels final __ hi-res texture replacer

Cowardly horses

High Quality Food and Ingredients

Better Landscape textures

Enhanced Night Skyrim

Improved Dragon Textures

My question is : Are there any other mods that may improve my performance without decreasing my gaming experience and are do any of the mods listed above have a big performance impact?

Regards,

rafeg.

Any texture that increases the actual detail will have an impact on preformance. If you have a texture that simply replaces the color or has a different look but is the same level of actual detail as the vanilla version, it will have no impact on preformance. Anything that says - hi res, should throw up a red flag for preformance decreases.

Unless the mod creator explicitly states that you need the 4 GB ram mod, I can't see why you shouldn't be able to run any mod you want. The only time I ever suffer from a drop in performance is in dungeons so I haven't installed any hires retextures for them. Other than that I haven't found anything I can't run and I'm playing on a real toaster until I sort some serious hardware issues out on my other machine. Currently running:

AMD Athlon II X4 645 @3.2GHz

NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS

2 GB RAM

You'll be fine .
