Yet another CTD issue.

Hey guys, as we all know Oblivion is plagued with CTD's. Well, I've got an issue with it right now and I have no idea what's causing this one..

I fixed my previous random CTD's by simply turning off hardware sound in the .ini file, but my current issue is that Oblivion crashes when I'm trying to level up (IE, resting at a bed). As soon as I rest and set the hours to rest etc, and click rest, it crashes. I've never had this happen before. It is probably a mod issue, however my mod list has barely even changed since my previous level up and I've disabled my newest mods in attempt to fix the problem myself, but it did not work.

I've followed FCOM's official load order FAQ in terms of mod order placement. (Atleast I think I have).

The mods I disabled (the newer ones) to try to fix the problem were:

Scorn's Vampirism 2.esp

IWR-Windows.esp

IWR-Shutters.esp

IWR-Lights.esp

IWR - Windows Lights Shutters - Optimised.esp

sr_retroactive_health.esp

Since these were the only ones I've installed since my last level up (I'm only level 4 ;D).

So, any pointers here? I don't wish to be viewed as just another stupid person who didn't install mods right >_< Since I really don't think that's the case.. :/

Unofficial oblivion patch should be loaded first

Horsecombat master and inventory tracker should be loaded last of the esms

You forgot the timed block option for deadly reflex

Deadly reflex esp load order:

Bashed patch, 0.esp

Mounted_Spellcasting Deadly Reflex Compatible.esp

Deadly reflex timed block -your option-

Deadly reflex combat moves

Natural weather,IWR among all other weather and sound mods should load directly after the unofficial patch (which should be loaded first of the esps)

Be sure to have all mods upgraded to the latest version , Especially the big ones such ass OOO,MMM etc... (Don't forget to download rens latest version of the guard overhaul)

Thanks man, I'll try your suggestion now. Though i am sure the timed block was optional and not required, and that the bashed patch should always be loaded last. But eh, I'm still new to the mod thing.

EDIT: And the major overhaul mods are latest version, just for the record.

EDIT2: Alright, just tried it. Crashed again :/ I'll keep pondering and try again in the morning; 2:35am here. Thanks again though, I appreciate the assistance

Yeah it's optional , Still the other deadly esps should load after the bashed patch

I had a problem with horse armor causing unexplained crashes. Yeah, I know, it's an 'official' Bethsda mod and should work perfectly. But since I removed it my crashes have dropped dramatically.
