Guards still attacking in Temple after Forsworn quests

I've done the Forsworn Conspiracy and Escape Cidna Mine quests in Markarth but each time I visit the shrine of Talos, the guards are still there, telling me I've been sniffing around too much and telling I'll go to prison. Then, no matter what I respond, they attack me, and then the whole city attacks me. So I can't ever enter the shirne of Talos. Help, anyone?

I have this problem also. I wasn't able to find any workaround. You could possibly kill the guards off using the console before they aggro on you, I haven't tried this. You don't need to go down there again, there are other shrines to Talos in the game if you love it for the buff.

Same here.

killed tons of guards before accepting to go to prison. escaped, met the jarl, became 'forgiven' for the problems.... but later I came back for the Talos shrine and they appeared again, saying the same things and now I'm being attacked everywhere in the city of markath again.

I have the same issue, and thought about using the console command to just kill them, but that Priest of Stendar or whoever that guy is that keeps asking if you know anything

about the house with the suspected Daedra or Dremora worshipper whichever it is, keeps rushing into the temple and attacking me as well, and I haven't done that mission

yet, so I don't want to kill him as well....It's bad enough outside the temple when every guard says, "hey I know you", most of the time they'll leave me alone when I use the

reply "do you really want to do this, or I don't have time for this" whichever it is, they just reply "let some other guard deal with it"! But I agree, it is annoying...
