panurgy
I've only been using it a short while, and fortunately have a setup that has had few crashes so far. But I just got one, the second in the last few days that happened inside a keep/dungeon cell. It's the first time I've seen a potentially useful logfile in Skyrim, so that's a watershed moment. But I'm wondering how often this type of log message leads to anything? I just opened all of the nif files and looked at them. I didn't see anything that was obviously an issue, but I didn't look that closely. FWIW, here's the message: 26 Oct 15:30:01 Game has crashed while reading binary data stream! This could indicate a corrupt NIF file. Here are the last opened files starting from most recent:C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\clutter\common\commontable01.nif" 1.311 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\clutter\wine\winebottle02bempty.nif" 1.326 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\TEXTURES\smim\clutter\common\Table_Leg_Bark_n.dds" 1.389 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\TEXTURES\smim\clutter\common\Table_Leg_Bark.dds" 1.451 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\furniture\common\commonbench01.nif" 1.451 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\clutter\wine\winebottle02aempty.nif" 1.451 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\clutter\wine\winebottle01aempty.nif" 1.482 seconds ago.C:\GamesSteam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\DATA\MESHES\clutter\wine\winebottle01a.nif" 1.482 seconds ago. Project579
It gives that message a lot of times when the game crashes sometimes is right sometimes it isn't.
