Got 2 questions

Hello I'm new here ( you probably guessed that already though :) and, out of curiosity, what are kudos and what are those squares above "posts"?

If there is a thread that answers my questions, could someone point me in the right direction please?

As for the squares, I am not exactly sure. I am still relatively new here myself.

I think the little squares are some type of rank marking, since they seem to increase with your number of posts. I'm just guessing, since on some other forums that is the spot where your forum rank would be.

You get kudos from people liking your mods,friends,or if you help someone. The blocks i think just represent how many posts you have..

Welcome to the forums, have fin (that's part of what goes into the fishy-stick) and remember you can't throw out the baby with the bath water if you never bath the baby.

As many of you have guessed, the little squares are in fact part of the ranking system. The more you post, the more squares show up (up to a max of 5). If there's a special rank you have, it will show here instead (IE Admin, Premium, Moderator, etc).

Think of the pips as a way of measuring how awesome that member is. Clearly the forum is bugged, otherwise the entire screen would be totally covered in mine. :P

1:Can someone tell me what the "upgrade" button is for or is there is a topic that answers tha already?

2:How do you become a "premium" member or is there a topic that answers that already?
