tomcullen1913
I was actually having this conversation the other day...in Morrowind, armor was broken into smaller pieces. Pauldrons, greaves, cuirass, etc. How possible would it be to break the armors up again? Wouldn't that make it easier to combine different bits of armor? TolarisOmega
That comes from the consolization of The Elder Scolls. PS3 and 360 use roughly 512 Mb of RAM to do everything, and without a HDD 4.5 Gb on the DVD. So we're limited to now-seven year old technology. In order to get the draw distances up, something had to be sacrificed, namely, everything else. Oblivion was stuck with slots for head, torso, legs, feet, hands, ringsx2, amulet, tail. There was also weapon, shield and quiver.Apart from the shield-on-back mod, no one was able fix it well. Someone had split the Pauldrons from vanilla armour, but there was some conflicts, as I think it took the tail slot. This was for display purposes. The was two mods, one called unlimited rings, and one called unlimited wear, that allowed for more apparel, but wouldn't display. I think the only way to fix it is to go into the source code, not something that is going to happen unless Bethesda open-sources it. I don't see it ever happening. Bethesda is turning their backs on the community that made them successful. When you went from Diablo to Diablo 2, there was a big change in complexity, it seems to be the opposite with TES. huntsman2310
Do you mean just wearing the greaves of the hide armour and the cuirass of the Blades armour? Thats easy to do, you just need some Nifskope knowledge to do it. I'll work on it tommorow.
