ZAYAGotSHOTTY
So I just downloaded Skyrim SE, I started a new game and immediately noticed that I was getting a very low FPS. I'm well above the recommended system requirements (I have a GTX 970 and a i7) so I should be getting a decent FPS even at ultra graphics. Also all the character models have this weird gray flickering effect on them. You can see that here. http://steamcommunity.com/id/ZAYAGotSHOTTY/home/
ZAYAGotSHOTTY
Nevermind, I fixed it. If you're also having this problem and you're using a Nvidia graphics card here's what you need to do. 1. Open the Nvidia Control Panel2. Go to 'Manage 3D settings' then click the Program Settings tab3. Click add and find Skyrim Special Edition4. Once it's added go to the drop down menu under the label that says 'Select the preferred graphics processor for this program' and select your Nvidia processor. freshjerky
Fixed worked for me. I didn't realize I had to specify which applications used the nvidia card in my laptop. Thanks.
