Lucidx
This is currently the only mod that I know of that removes dragons. Check it out and tell me how it goes. However, I do not believe that it removes nmed dragons. Like Paarthurnax and many other questline dragons and so on, but give it a try.I'll try out this mod, thank you very much for the help. You're not the only one man. I've taken to disabling 100% of random dragons when I first see them. Then I don't have to worry about the body cluttering up the place and moving around. The latest patch fixes the dragon body problem. I get dragons every time I fast travel to certain places. Is that when you get them OP?Yeah I get them every time I fast travel to pretty much anywhere outdoors, half the time there will be one dragon flying around like an idiot to either the north or the west and another dragon flying around like an idiot in the south or the east. Not to mention every time I go into a dungeon or cave, the moment I walk out there's gonna be a huge dragon fight despite my having just killing like ten draugr deathlords. The dragon spawns are static locations from what I can tell. X amount of ingame hours will go by then they will spawn. I think I have kill the mages guild dragon about 200 times, its silly. What pisses me off is the fact that after you Beat the game and become "Accepted" by the dragons, you STILL get attacked by them over and over :wallbash: they arent submitting to the tyranny of paarthunax's "way of the voice" Which simply boils down to the dragons still thinking they're the king of the word and you're nothing more than a scrawny little nerd who has taken an intrest in shouting at random people.Yes, the lack of recognition from both people and dragons after the main quest is just heartbreaking, I didn't feel like I completed the main quest at all once it was finished. What was with all the dragons sitting around acting chill when you come back to the throat of the world and then they just go back to being dicks once they leave paarthunax' sight, I know right? Hopefully bethesda releases some sort of huge expansion to the end of the game like they did for Fallout 3.
Susurruss
Just a note, if you're not keen on shouts or the MQ, if you never go to Whiterun and talk to the Jarl, you will not have dragons. My current character has learned 8 shout words and has not once seen a dragon. (In other words, the outdoor places where you get a shout and have a dragon priest don't have dragons for me). She is about 40 hours in the game right now, no dragon souls, but that's okay, she's sneaky and has bad breath.
Almy
I'm thinking I'll wait for a bit with my first character before messing with dragons. I've searched a bit and it looks like I can just avoid talking to Jarl and not have to worry with dragons until I'm ready. Does that mean I would still be safe to explore Whiterun and do other quests there without triggering dragons?
Susurruss
I've been all though Whiterun, ran some minor quests in there, even go up to Dragonsreach and deal with Farendar and use his tables. The housecarl will appropriate my attention with her inane challenge, but I just tab out of her conversation and go back to business, never approaching the Jarl. Almy
Thanks very much. My wife got it for me for Christmas and won't let me open it early so I've had plenty of time to plan :).
