Thanks Almelexia but I will need your email address to send it to you. This isn't a problem isolated with the chest mesh I made it happens a lot. with the groin texture I made it had several mesh's combined I grouped, then I textured it and it's white, and in the niftexturer it gives no option for texture.

owk I'm checking your model right now...and I think that I've found out why your texture didn't worked...have you mapped your model (UV map) because I see that it's build up out of several balls and one original mesh?? Right? the main peice is original (so has a standard mw UV map) and the chest muscles and abs. are just modified balls right? Jup it's definitely the maps. The models aren't mapped so when you add a texture to it the balls (which haven't got a map) only take 1 pixel of the texture which causes that the balls are going to be 1 color...so you have to make a texture map..If you don't know how to do it i'll make one ok???

No I know how to make a texture map. Morrowind only uses .bmp and .targa right? Your right about everything from what I can see. I tried using the same texture from the main body to use for the chest and abs. So you mean to say I need seprate textures for each one?

noonooo :P look at the attachment...that is a texture map...it's a map for your model so that it sees where to put the texture and how....if you don't have a map like your model (your model hasn't got a map exept for the original mesh) the program doesn't knows how to texture it and takes only 1 pixel of the texture for the whole object. So you don't have to make new textures you have to make a new texture map :) .....

I only started with 3DsMax like a couple of days ago so don't think I'm dumb. Ok I guess I was confused because they call textures "maps" in the material editer. Ok well this is a help. I will mess with this later to see if I can do it. And I think I know how to get the cordinates for the head, they should hold true for any model in morrowind. I'm going to look at my head models x,y,z thing in 3DsMax and see if thats what you need.
