elricshan
i was thinking when i played darksouls that it had been epic if there was a mod that added the weapons and armors from darksouls to skyrim and odcourse some of the mosnters to. Dragonborn502
Well, this one is not gonna be easy one.I am not a modder, or console fan.But even I can say that it is not gonna be simple cut/copy to edit stuff from console game to pc, and yet add it to completely different game. ryanwh
You could probably adjust how leveling works and how a dungeon works to create something that feels a bit like Dark Souls. As for ripping monsters, there are about 5 illegal things you're doing to even get the mesh and texture on your PC and a couple more when you put them in a public mod. quitoman
I one-up this but would rather see the combat style of skyrim to be more like dark souls rather than see the enemies from it.
Falconsflight
Creating the weapons would be simple I think but to have the creatures of dark souls in skyrim would be hard. You would have to create the models yourself otherwise it would be illegal. on top of that the monsters of dark souls are complex and weird so I highly doubt people would try to create them in skyrim... an example of one is ceaseless discharge (lol), imagine trying to replicate that into skyrim. LoofSquared
Ceaseless Discharge wouldn't be too hard to model and texture, just saying. Been doing this stuff for quite a while now, though what I'm concerned about is the AI scripting..

LoofSquared
Oh well, the Gaping Dragon would be a bit harder, but definitely do-able. It's just a question of how does one create a working AI that resembles the original, also, where does one fit such a huge, ugly creature in? Falconsflight
I think the lag alone form something that size would make it impossible, that with the animations for the creature would not be smooth and would look like garbage.

Does size matter when it comes to lag? Isnt it the quaility of the model?
