LittleSpac
Whenever I try to activate Frostfall and Campfire (Mods), they stay un-activated (Little red cancel button thing next to it). The progress tab also appears briefly, then dissapears.Steps:1: Downloaded them, everything wnt fine.2: Installed them on the mod manager, again, fine.3: Went to activate them, doesn't work. I have no Idea if I have done something wrong, or the manager is bugged.

Ivory0102
I am having a similar issue: Why are the largest mods not activating, when they use to? The game, Skyrim SE, and nexus mode manager are on my D: drive. Mods install. I use to be able to activate all mods, but now the largest mods will not activate. When activing the mod, the message is: "A problem occurred during install: " no further explanation. History:I am new to nexus mod manager and the experience of playing around with mods. I was having fun and success the last week or so. All mods loaded and activated, even maxed out. Then my C drive was running low on memory space with 2 gig left, so I moved/uninstalled and reinstalled steam, game Skyrim SE, nexus mod manager, and Loot to the D drive. Loading and activation of mods worked. Then I took a few hours (over a couple of days and experimenting) with great frustration to figure out how to get shadowman's loader dll to work for the activating achievements and uncapper mods. I think I finally did it! yeah!. As part of that research, I found a suggestion and loaded WaRAR (sp?). Terrible experience. I figured it out, without using the program. I had "offers" that I missed declining (a huge pet peeve of mine) and un-installed them with the control center options. As I recall, it was two programs, one for antivirus protection and some other service. Then failure with nexus mod manager. Noticed that some of my .esp files were missing, apparently deleted. After that discovery, I then deleted WaRAR (sp?) too. I deleted Skyrim SE, mod manager, loot, and reloaded back to D drive the same. Loaded mods. I noticed that only small mods would activate in nexus mod manager. Looked for ways to clean up my disk and computer memory. Deleted extra files, ccleaned disk, emptied out recycle bin, etc. Reloaded Skyrim, nexus mod manager, and loot. A few larger programs loaded, like Unofficial patch, Campfire. The largest mods, like Static mesh, Hunterborn, Ineed, Helgen Reborn will not activate. I have spent hours now listening to "how to" videos with narrator accent (hard for me to understand), music playing (which makes even worse to understand), low voice volume, and barely visible pictures. I have searched and looked at written help documentation and "activation" problems seem to be answered by answering how to solve installation problems, which does answer the question: Why are mods failing to activate after successful installation (as represented on nexus mod manager)? Request:Answers/ideas on the solution and/or where to go for the appropriate help/details for activation problems (Nexus Mod/Skyrim SE) would be appreciated. * this is my first posting ever. Forgive the length of the post, I am hoping to give enough detail to obtain the best answer. UPDATE: Mod activation restored when active/hiding anti-malware program was uninstalled.
