XIDUK
..I'm looking for an affordable laptop for my daughter, starting uni studying animation, as an xmas present..I've narrowed it down to these two for ram and hdd in my budget and I was wondering which one you, with your knowledge and experience, would consider the most suitable all in..best all round etc..hope you don't mind taking a look as I have absolutely no bloody idea....https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-ENVY-17-k254na-17-3-Laptop/...http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops...I can afford up to about 600 quid, and I know I probably won't get much for that in degree level animation computing terms but I have to try so any advice would be great...Thanks for your helpNick.. Erik005
I would be careful buying a laptop, check if there are minimum specs for a laptop. Also 17.3 and 15.6 inch laptops are to big and heavy to carry to class every day. If she only needs a laptop to take notes in class and office work, a good light chrome book would be a better option.
