Weapons and Armor degrading out of nowhere

Hey guys, I've run into a problem that just started today. Out of nowhere, all of my weapons and armor just started losing all their damage/armor points. They perpetually degrade as I continue to play. I've got the game on ps3, if that makes a difference. Has anyone run into this or know what is going on? Thanks for any feedback.

Perhaps, as in real life, they get dull and worn out with use. Maybe you need to spend some time at the workbench and grindstone to repair and hone your battle-worn equipment.

You're diseased. Go to a shrine to get back up to full health.

 

You probably have Rockjoint.

 

You can also drink a cure disease potion.

 

As for armor, the only time i see armor stats go down is I have the perk that grants me bonus to armor if i am wearing all heavy/light and I put my circlet on and forget to put my helm back on.

Yeah, my first suggestion would be going to the "Magic" menu and check the Active Effects list for any diseases that may be affecting you, sounds like a good start. Otherwise, I thought they removed weapon and armour degrading from this game? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/blink.gif

there is also a bug that occurs where the negative effects of rockjoint are not removed even after shrine/potion (although it will remove its label in the magic/effects menu).

if you have no negative effects listed under magic/effects but one or more of your skills have a red number, then you have this bug.

It will fix itself when you level.
