DavinaJo
The long of the short is SKSE is the why and the secondly SKSE team is aware of this and working on it, there isn' t eta when the 64bit version of SKSE will be out. Unfortantly time and patience is needed mods will get converted (if needed ). I have found that texture mods can be use safely with SSE.
Krystyndovame
Yes there is a way to convert standard skyrim mods in a 64 bit version for SSE...though I have not yet tried. It has to do with creating meshes/etc, and integrating them into the SSE engine. It also depends on the mod type that you want to use. If the mod simply changes the meshes/texture or models of a particular item, then the conversion may be rather simple. If it is a large mod that modifies gameplay or something, then it probably better to recreate it. As of now there are a several mods that have been ported to SSE.
