how to use your favorite body mod in SSE (temporary solution)

Just in case some of you have tried and gotten crashes, there is an easy work around that will let you use any HDT Body or Clothes in Skyrim SE. Just, of course, with no bounce or physics.

 

just follow these four steps:

 

1) Download the newest version of the XPMSE Skeleton (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000/?)

 

2) Unpack the archive to a temporary directory

 

3) Find the folder "07 XPMSE3 (Recommended)". Pack THIS DIRECTORY ONLY into a new archive.

 

4) Drop the archive into Wrye Bash or NMM. Then install it.

 

Now your HDT enabled body meshes and clothes can be used, but again, with no actual HDT effects. But they won't crash the game.

 

this can be used as a temporary solution until more dedicated body mods and clothes can appear for this version.
