Trypal7
I have the Steam downloaded version of fonv and am having some problems with installing MCM. I'm using FOMM and tried NMM and thats not the problem. What happens is when I load a save, any save, It says MCM is installed on the upper left of the screen when I first enter the game like it should, but when I hit esc, it's not there. Anybody got an idea? Please :) Edited November 1, 2016 by Trypal7
dubiousintent
MCM doesn't work on it's own. It works with other mods that need to be configured. Have you installed the "MCM bug fix" file? Have you installed NVSE, and if so which version? Are you using any of those listed on the download page? The order in which you install those mods matters. See the wiki article "HUD-UI-Menu issues" for potential issues in that regard. -Dubious-
Trypal7
I downloaded all the mods about a week ago now so everything should be current. I do have nvse installed first. Gopher had a couple of videos about installing his mods with some other popular mods then. I guess youtube has them? This was over 2 years ago now. I didn't really intend to start playing this again as I was only on steam to check in about skyrim SE since I have a 64bit system. Steam wanted to start FONV setup, I thought I hit exit but somehow when I was surfing the whole game downloaded in less than an hour because when I disconnected I saw the usage numbers and was stunned. So I was like ok, what the hell, let's play it. I had all this figured out 2 years ago, it's like starting over again. Please bear with me. I'll look into what you said and see if I can get this done. TY
