Joannarei808
Ok so I've been playing and downloading mods and came across the dance mod which instructs me to replace the mt_idle.hkx in the meshes/animations folder but all I'm seeing in my steamapp DATA folder is animations/meshes.bsa file. What do i have to do to replace the mt_idle.hkx file with the hkx dance file? And what do I need to type in the game console to get them to start dancing? Please help. SHAKALOVE
I think this is for P.C only and if u are talking about your Pc. Then download it using the Nexus Mod Manager in your Programs Folder dear one. Probably already figured that out tho. Enjoy!!! :-)
MShoap13
Add the necessary folder to the \Skyrim\Data\ directory. Typically, mods are archived and uploaded with the file structure in tact so it should be a simple copy and paste of the \meshes\ folder found inside of the archive. The built in replacer system should automatically detect and (assuming you've got it in the right folder) use the replacement animation instead of the default mt_idle.hkx found in that location inside of the .bsa archive (the game's default resources are stored with their file structure intact in "Bethesda Softworks Archives").
