4GB and SKSE?

If you have SKSE in your Skyrim folder, starting the game with the 4GB launcher will auto load SKSE also.

It seems to have stopped working. The 4gb launcher seenms to stop SKSE, ENB mods, and Script Dragon as of the last few days at least.

I found this post that worked for me. I am now effectively running 4gb + SkyUI + SkyrimHD + SBW + Miscellaneous mods.

"IT CAN ALL WORK TOGETHER NICE AND EASY :)

SimpleBorderlessWindow13p3 = SBW, SKyrinScriptExtender1.04.1 = SKSE, ScriptDragon1.3.7 = SD, Skyrim4GB 1.5 = 4GB & my favorite 9 ENB patch = ENB :)

How To:

Install all these into your main Skyrim Folder

Than launch Skyrim4GB.exe - it will create EXES folder. Exit game

Delete EXES folder and launch only SBW. It will create the EXES folder again. It means that SBW is running including 4GB.

And to make it super simple copy all files from skyrim main folder into the EXES folder. (only files not folders :) that should be up to 100 mb )

to run it all together simply launch SBW

Tadaaaaaa.

If you need to install new plugins for SD don't forget to make a copy into the EXES folder as well.

I am sure there is a less complicated and more professional way to do this, but this is for dummies and not so computer savvy people like myself ;o)"

Hope it works for you.

There are several variants of a 4GB utility. The one I am currently recommending is 4GB Skyrim by MonochromeWrench. This one does not rely on a modified Skyrim.exe, works with steam, NMM, SKSE and should be useable even after a Skyrim update - most of the others will no longer work when Skyrim or Steam is updated as they rely on directly making a change in the Skyrim.exe which WILL be reset on an update.

There is a rumor that Beth will include an LAA patch (large address aware) similar to the 4GB utility in the next update. But I'm not holding my breath. :whistling:

As for DragonScript, I'm not sure what it is compatible with. As it seems to do some of the same things as SKSE, it may not be compatible with that at all - But check the documentation to be sure. :thumbsup:
