Stargazer09
There's not enough information in your post to even start troubleshooting. Some general things for you to consider: 1. Are you using a mod manager, like the Nexus Mod Manager? How have you been trying to install your mods? Manually?2. Some mods need an external program called Fallout 4 Script Extender in order to work. Did you download and install that?3. Some mods need another mod as the latter has files that the former will need, or modifies. Read the mod description carefully.4. It would help if you could share the specific error messages you get so that the community here can better try to help you. What mods are you tryimg to use? Finally, a good practice is to install one or two mods at a time, start the game and see if everything works as it should. That way if something doesn't work it's easier to troubleshoot the problem. Stargazer09
What do you mean, "they do not show up"? Did you download the mods manually or by NMM? Did you activate the mods?
oddone1975
ones i downloaded via nmm are not showing up in my inventory on the mods section of game these are 2 that do not work and i see no info in the descriptions as to other content needed projectx - dlc07(found in the mods are when i load game) and vault 88 unlocked, vault 1080 and the conquest to build new settlements seems to work as i s one that i don't see that allows you to scrap items that before you were unable to in settlements good for tidy up

damanding
ok i did find more info as mod just showed up in my nmm on dlc projectx complete says i am missing dlcRobot.esm,dlcworkshop.esm,dlccoast.esm,dlcworkshop02.esm,dlcworkshop03.esm,dlcnukaworld.esmand on vault 88 unlocked says i am missing dlcworkshop03.esm hope this helpsApparently those mods requires all of the DLC. If you haven't purchased the DLC you won't be able to use those mods.
oddone1975
so i have top find and buy each dlc listed? why wouldn't they say you need certain dlc in order to use mod as they had no info that i saw listed
damanding
Most mod authors do tell you when DLC are required. I'm curious though why you would download a mod that is clearly DLC specific like Vault 88 and then be surprised that it actually requires the DLC. Were you really hoping that it gave you DLC content without having purchased it? As for Project X, I looked at their page and they did indeed neglect to directly specify that their mod requires all DLC. But they do have a line early in the description that says "LOAD ORDER: OFFICIAL DLCs, DLCProjectX.esp". Notice that DLCs is plural.
