LiamNissan123
Hello. I have done a massive amount of googling trying to sort this out. But, when I installed ENBSeries and BleakENB it won't let me start up Skyrim. I removed the d3d9.dll file and that let me start it up, so I figure the problem is with the ENB. I've read A LOT that ENB has problems with Windows 10 or something. I've tried installing installing the proper DirectX files, setting enbhost.exe to run as admin, but nothing seems to work. The strange thing is though is that I got it to work with the ENB yesterday, but, when I started up Skyrim today it gave me the same crash on startup. I don't even make it to the Bethesda screen. Does anybody have a solution to this? I'd love to play the game with ENB, mostly for the benefits of ENBoost. But, another thing, is that months ago when I first built my computer in about January I was able to run Skyrim with an ENB fine. The only changes that I've made to my computer since then is upgrading to 16gb of RAM and a GTX 1070. Anyway, I appreciate any help. Thanks! Edit: So, I did some more searching in the forums and it says if I don't have d3d9_43.dll with the rest of the d3dx_xx.dlls, then I need to install the June 2010 redist. I've done that several times though and when I go into system32 I don't see any of those files. Why are they not installing there?
