If its labeled in a quest all you'll have to do is press R (show on map). And just recently the icon failed to show up too. I spent a lot of time looking for it in the usual places (sanctuary being one), no icon anywhere to be found, ultimately found it on the cul-de-sac by using "player.moveto". I guess it might have to do with the other sets being kept in the house nearby. I just checked, I've also got 3 PA sets in Vault 88 with no icon there.
