sadievic
Hey! I am currently playing the special editiom of skyrim on the xbox one and naturally. I have a few mods added into my game. The xbox one can run about 5GB of mods, i think. (Correct me if im wrong) and i currently have 4.26 GB of freespace left so in total ive used about 756.16 MB of that free space. Now im aware of load order and that having a correct load order results in mods working as they should and not creating problems. Which i am having since im very sure my load order is terrible. Ive had like 3 crashes so far and a really really long load time. Here are my mods in the currently order, please let me know how my load order should be. Many thanks Campfire: Complete camping system,Unofficial skyrim special edition patchFrostfall: hypothermia camping survivalHeartbreaker: A killmove mod SEVampires suck: no attacks in townWet and cold (XB1)(XB1) Lamposts of skyrim: special editionLanterns of skyrim - special editionNorthborn fur hoods X1iNeed - food, water and sleepAdorable femalesKS Hairdos LiteKill and pickpocket children (Xbox) If you have any other recommendations let me know :) (btw my current save file is new and clean so theres no mods ive disabled that may result in problems)
panurgy
I don't know what changes have been made to xbox1 mods. I also haven't manually sorted in years, but here you go. General Rules - Search around the web for more, and probably better, info. SKYRIM Unofficial PatchTextures & MeshesTowns/CitiesWeaponsArmorLightingWeatherGeneral Gameplay (combat/magic may be lower)Race ModsCosmetic Mods (hair, eyes, etc.)Weapons/Armor/ClothesQuestsCombat/Magic Overhaul ModsSpecial Mods - Animations, etc. My suggestion:Unofficial skyrim special edition patchCampfire: Complete camping system,Frostfall: hypothermia camping survivalVampires suck: no attacks in townKill and pickpocket children (Xbox)Lamposts of skyrim: special editionLanterns of skyrim - special editioniNeed - food, water and sleepNorthborn fur hoods X1KS Hairdos LiteAdorable femalesWet and cold (XB1)Heartbreaker: A killmove mod SE - Maybe iNeed should be at the bottom around Wet & Cold A couple more points:- The Unofficial Patch is always 1st.- Dependencies load before requirements. Frostfall requires Campfire, so Campfire must be loaded first, or things will be broken. This was already right, I just thought I should stress the point. ;)
sadievic
Thank you so much! I will definatley try this load order out. I know that the patch is supposed to ne at the top but chesko made the camping mod a master file and i am unable to move it. Again thanks alot. Do you think that the reasoning behind my game crashing is due to the load order?
sweetbrown66
Hi, pretty girl I can help you out - always run your .esm's first, then weathers, then scripted mods, and always always tun Wrye Bash after. Please hold...... I am checking out your mods... Get Save Game Tool, Loot and Wrye Bash - Use them, in that order. This should be your order at the very top:Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthFires.esmDragonborn.esmUnofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp - 1 SAMPLE LOAD ORDER FOR YOU [TOP] Unofficial skyrim special edition patchFrostfall: hypothermia camping survivalCampfire: Complete camping system, - This goes under and Frostfall and INEEDiNeed - food, water and sleep -Nice MCM mod. put after all weather mods. [CAN GO IN THE MIDDLE] Vampires suck: no attacks in town - This can go anywhere.Northborn fur hoods X1 - This can go anywhere - [NEAR THE BOTTOM] KS Hairdos Lite - You need to you KS body meshes all in one - I use this one too.Adorable females This should go near the bottom. Remember to install ragdolls first, then EP32 skeleton for this.Heartbreaker: A killmove mod SE - install realistic ragdolls and force then XP32 Extend Skeleton and put it at the bottom.Kill and pickpocket children (Xbox) - This is scripted mod. Typically this would go under all the more critical mods in your load order. [bOTTOM]Lanterns of skyrim - special edition - See above - I run this one too.(XB1) Lamposts of skyrim: special edition This is a small scripted mod, This should go beneath any lighting mod you have. Also make sure to run Save Game Tool to clean your orphan scripts.Wet and cold (XB1) - This goes near the bottom right after any weather mod. I run this one too. Lemme' know if you need more help,Brian~
panurgy
Do you think that the reasoning behind my game crashing is due to the load order? It's unlikely that load order is the issue, but it might help. Even so, you want decent sorting so that the mods work right. If you really want to find the problem, you might have to start a new game, then add one or two mods at a time. When you start crashing you'll know the mod is a problem. Sometimes mods are fine on their own, but don't work for a particular list. Also: you can't safely remove mods once added. You have to start a new game after removing the mod. Or revert to a save before you added the mod. If you remove a mod and keep playing with that save/character, you will eventually start to crash, and it will happen more and more frequently. The problem is that many people on the nexus have a lot of mod knowledge, but we don't know what changes have been made to the xbox mods. So that knowledge doesn't always apply. akamahoney
Here is a problem with Campfire. It supersedes the unofficial patch by taking first place in the xbox one load order. You cannot move it, it simply snaps back to first place in the order. Again this is on the console. On pc I use the Mod Organizer, no problems manipulating load order there. I have not found a solution for this on the Xbone. I am curious if you were able to successfully move Campfire down? The unofficial patch (on the console) must come first. I have simply disabled Campfire for now until I find a solution. If you have been able to move it down, did it just work for you? Or did you have to do some funky moves? I've tried everything, (which isn't saying much because there really isn't much that can be manipulated on the console). Any way if you got it fixed, how exactly did that happen? UPDATE: Found this answer at Bethesda.net "FYI, the reason Campfire is loading before the Unofficial Patch is that it is a .esm (stands for elder scrolls master) file and the Unofficial Patch is a .esp file (stands for elder scrolls plugin). The .esm files always load before .esp no matter what you try to do. Normally, the Unofficial Patch would also be a .esm file but there's a bug in the game right now where .esm files aren't loading properly so the unofficial patch is a .esp file until that gets fixed."
