nate1232
I feel that the cooldown on shouts is way too long, especially for something as simple as unrelenting force, or whirlwind sprint so I tried to modify it using player.setav shoutrecoverymult. I played around with different numbers, and then tried to set it to 0, no cooldown. But the shortest the cooldown on unrelenting shout would go is 8 seconds, even setting it to 0. I tried setting it back to default and restarting my skyrim, but when I set it to 0, the cooldown is always 8 seconds for unrelenting shout rank 1 (not exactly sure what multiplier this is). Any ideas on why?
pyropanda
Think about the cd this way, if you could constantly ground all your opponents with unrelenting shout and give it a cd of 3 seconds, that would be a tad bit broken IMO. Whirlwindsprint sure, just for extra traveling speed would be nice, but the shouts are set that way to prevent the player from abusing them. I know after I jacked my alchemy up, I had no real use for shouts because if it didn't die in one hit I would paralyze the guy and go to town. rebalious
setav has a bad habit of undoing itself on any non-skill value from personal experience. Try removing everything that's giving you Fortify Shouts so that getav tells you its 1 then use: player.modav shoutrecoverymult -1 It's what I did and it's working for me, hope it works for you. It's a good thing I forget to use shouts or this would be extremely OP. :whistling:

I set it to like .2 because whirlwind sprint is awesome
