eshesj
My computer has 8g ram and 2g graphic card (ATI Hd 5900 series). I installed both ENB series and 4g ram mods, then i realized that the automatic setting of skyrim launcher went down from ultra to high quality as i installed ENB series. I never tried to play skyrim before installing enb on this computer so i don't know the difference. But my guess is that previous graphic card engine is better. However, im not good with computer stuff so im not sure whether i should delete these to mods or not. And if i should, please recommend me graphic settings or ini settings i could use. Thanks guys. NoobusExtremus
I use the ENB mod. The game sees it as a new graphics card, so goes through the auto-settings based on what it thinks they should be. Just set everything back to Ultra. I like ENB because it's easy to change its settings. Night and dungeons are darker and now require extra light (torches, magelight/candlelight, etc.) to see all the dark corners. I tweaked the sharpness a little, more to my liking. The enhanced sun glare and the light bloom effects are excellent. I have also used the 4Gb mod, but for some reason I lost the ability to use both mods. If I use the 4Gb, the ENB doesn't kick in. I really haven't had any issues running without the 4Gb mod, so I shelved it for now so I can use ENB (which I don't want to play without). chapterzero
To avoid this change the value of sD3DDevice in SkyrimPrefs.ini before the first time you run Skyrim with ENBFor example change: sD3DDevice="NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570" to sD3DDevice="ENB" And then run Skyrim with ENB. Otherwise it will detect your graphics card as "ENB" and it will think it should auto-detect settings again, making changes to your ini. If you disable ENB you will need to reverse your change and put it back to the previous value (before running Skyrim without ENB) or again it will think the graphics card has changed and that it needs to auto-detect settings again. (This is true as of version 0.098 ENB for Skyrim).
