Sheathed third person camera

Hello to you all!

For some unknown reason, whenever I enter non-combat, third person camera mode, the camera is centered directly at my character's head. To be truly honest, I have no idea how this happened. I tried disabling all the mods I have, but the problem persists, which makes me believe that there's an issue within the game itself.

Please, help me!

I thought one could adjust these settings via the INI files, maybe have a look into that.

Here's the thing: my Skyrim.ini doesn't have the [Camera] section already in it, and even if the settings were there, I wouldn't know which values would be optimal/original :/

Well if you uninstall the game, you might find it is still present in your save file :S. Tried deleting your INIs and regenerating them? Also just to be absolutely sure, make sure there is no random INI sitting in the data folder.

No, deleting the INIs didn't help :(

However, I decided to see if it had anything to do with the Bethesda Mods, so I reinstalled the game. Then I installed and activated each mod one at a time and checked how it would affect an unmodded save and a new save. Apparently, none of the mods caused the third-person camera error, but when I restarted the game, the problem reappeared!

[Camera]
fOverShoulderCombatAddY = -15.0000 //When weapon is out: zoom in/out
fOverShoulderCombatPosZ = -10.000 //When weapon is out: height
fOverShoulderCombatPosX = -35.0000 //When weapon is out: left/right distance from the center
fOverShoulderPosZ = -10.0000 //When weapon is NOT out: height
fOverShoulderPosX = 0.0000 //When weapon is NOT out: left/right distance from the center
fOverShoulderHorseAddY = -200.0000 //While on horse: zoom in/out
fOverShoulderHorsePosZ = 75.0000 //While on horse: height
fOverShoulderHorsePosX = 0.0000 //While on horse: left/right distance from the center
fMouseWheelZoomMinDelta = 0.000 //Not sure what it does exactly
fMouseWheelZoomSpeed = 14.0000 //Speed of the zooming in/out
fMouseWheelZoomIncrement = 0.6000 //Increments, not sure how it does work, but currently it's 3 steps, min, med, max. Proportional with Min/Max VanityModeDist
fVanityModeMinDist = 80.0000 //Min distance from the character (min zoom out)
fVanityModeMaxDist = 240.0000 //Max distance from the character (max zoom out)
fPitchZoomOutMaxDist = 0.0000 //Set to zero so when looking down the camera won't go further away

here are the camsettings and they work.

are you sure you put them in the correct ini......???? these are to be put in skyrim.ini...NOT the pref one, and it should be located in your documents folder.

good luck
