Count of Bruma

A couple of my friends and I are new to Oblivion, and we beat it each once. We were talking about it after, and got an idea for a mod that makes you the Count of Bruma (if your a guy char). We were thinking after you do the akivari quest for the countess, you wait for like a week, and a messenger would deliver a letter to you. It would be like a secret love note, then you have to go around gathering clues on who it might be, then eventually have to get a ring specially made for her, and propose. There is one problem though, none of us know how to mod, and we're in college, so there's no time to learn. If anyone would be interested in trying to make this mod, pleae send and e-mail to [email protected]. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to what everyone else thinks about this. :thanks:

Dude, It does sound pretty cool. HOWEVER, there are things you should consider. What if you happened to be a female character? What are all the perks to being count?...you'd have to create those. And most importantly, you'd need to make the countess hotter. If memory serves, isn't she like the oldest countess in Cyrodiil? Really. That sad face akes me want to break down and attempt it for you, but I am involved in something else right now. But don't lose hope! Reply yourself to this everyday to keep it at the top of the list, and eventually someone besides me will at least look at it...

That would be spamming, and that's illegal.

As for the idea, it's ok, but unless you can make it yourself, it's probably not going to happen. People with talent have dozens of stuff they want to do; there aren't modders just hanging around begging for someone to give them something to do. This request section is quite misleading; almost none of the requests are actually followed through.

Yeah, maybe someone should start a little tally board or 'Mods made vs Mods not-made'.

Anyway, modding isn't incredibly difficult to anyone with a basic intelligence and a bit of devotion. I understand you are at uni, but its a fun little project to pick up in your holidays. And since both you, and your friends want this to happen you've got a little team there.

This site has most of the info you'll need on modding, and if you have any specific questions about a mod people here can help.

Oh well. That's the first time an idea of mine has been considered illegal. Whatever - I was hardly serious...The Elder Scrolls CS Wiki he linked you to is the best place for learning the CS. There are alot of tutorials there...that's how I learned.
