RUSSIA - A land scarred by the Wars of past

Russia is big..... VERY big in terms of land area and such and even still today is largly unpopulated when compared to the population of say.... the USA?

We could add a decent sized area of the Russia, something snowy and has an ambient meter a lot like hunger ans sleep in Hardcore mod But monitors your Body temperater.

Custom outfits would need some tuning.

Creature wise:-

- Ghouly Polar Bears using a reskinned Yao Gui

- Wooly Deathclaws like the kind seen in Fallout Tactics

- Snow wolfs and feral huskies as using the same skin as Dogmeat and retextured Legion dog

- Lots of Pre-war Soviet rambling Robots with Pro-communist slogans

- Frost Ghouls, Feral Ghouls who use thier radiationgenerating abilities to generate thier own heat but at the same time, adapt them to the cold.

- Musk Oxen, much like the big horners but Musk Oxey.

- Siberian Tiger - unchanged but still leathal

- Super Mutant Yetis, regular yetis where forever changed since the radiation

- The Falmer from Skyrim - why the hell not?

Factions

- Pro-communist factions such as Chinese Reminants and Soviet Military based ones

they would be largey at war because of their disagreements on what type of Communism is the right one, the Chinese Mao version or the Lenin/Stalin/Soviet Version?

- Japanese invasion, much like brothershogo's works in The Rising Sun. We see it in the Mojave, why not in Russia?

- A remake of the Great Mogolian Khans, out of Mongolia and spread throughout the wilds of Russia, basically a form or Raider and Tribal combined but at the same time building thier own form of civilisation yet again as they did centuries before across Asia.

- Super Mutants - a Soviet version of the FEV virus? But these can breed.

Weapons:-

- AKs... LOTS of AKS

Basically any Russian type of firearm created like AKs

Using resources from The STALKER games should do it as I understand its perfectally legal but keep this a distinct Fallout taste with Soviet energy weapons?

Companions: well something like this to start with:-

- Natasha from C&C Red Alert 3

If I may ask why Falmer? Because its probably very hard trying to port something from a game on a heavily modified gamevryo engine to one that was made 2 years before.

And how did Deathclaws make it to Russia? They were military experiments by the U.S government.

I's just saying is all.

I hope you know this mod would be completely against the lore of Fallout. All other countries were reduced to nothing but heavily irradiated craters. America is the only semi-hospitible country left in the Fallout world. Only a few select people were able to survive in Europe. That's it.

Okay, and why were they able to survive in Europe and even travel across the ocean, like Tenpenny? Also, the people get hit by radiation in Fallout universe don't automatically die. They turn eventually to ghouls.

Maybe Russia is populated by ghouls in Ushankas.

And also, subway in Moscow was ever there. It's a friggin vault network system. The subway in St.Petersburg is focked, however - it's built in the swamp ground.

And there are vast spaces in tundra/taiga, who have eventually a hut with a old geezer with a rifle there and there, destilling russian liquid Rad-X.

I don't think the world outside of postapocalyptic America is completely dead. Maybe a bit mutated and glowing, like everything in Fallout lore.

Maybe not all of the world is "dead", you are correct. But it is mostly craters and dead land. Did you see the earth from Mothership Zeta? Most of Russia is scorched. And also, not everyone will become a ghoul. Ghoulification is caused by a recessive, hidden gene deep within human DNA. Only 1 in 1000 humans have that gene. If you do not have the gene, radiation will kill you rather than cause ghoulification. If you do have the gene, gradual exposure to a small amount of radiation over a period of time will make you one. In short, the mod sounds like a good idea. I just thought you should know the lore of Fallout before attempting this. If you have questions about a specific country, just look out of the window while on Mothership Zeta.

I'm sorry, but it was never hinted that America was the only place that survived the war. All you have to go by is some visuals from Mothership zeta, which isn't very good proof.

Anyways, I think Russia is a bit overdone when it comes to Post-Apocalyptic games. Now if somebody were to make a mod set in China, then I definitely play that.

Yes, it was. In Fallout 2. President Richardson explains it. And then there's the fact that Fallout is an American only game.
