CTD when getting hands unbound

So, I'm having a problem during the scene where Ralof (in the case of my file anyway, I haven't tested it with Hadvar) is about to cut the binds off your hands. It CTDs during that scene every time. Interestingly, it's not always at the EXACT same time. Sometimes it's during other piece of dialogue, sometimes it's when I walk up to him to get it done, the exact timing seems to vary (which makes it difficult to pin down what's causing it). I tried looking at the crash reports myself, but they don't even seem to be consistent with each other as far as I can tell. Not to mention that they usually end with the completion of a successful check of a mod. Perhaps someone here can help me. I'll post my most recent crash report and my mod list below.

If there's any other information that can help, let me know. I don't want to take the time to generate my PC specs, but it's not lagging at all, it's just a sudden CTD. Besides that, my rig ought to be fine to handle this load. Let me know if you can help, thanks!

really, how do you know? just removing smim says nothing.only when you use vanilla and smim as only mod and it crashes than its sure that mod.

 

look say we have mods a, b, c, d, and all runs fine, now i add e, and it crashes..almost everyone will give e as the culprit, but.. but..

say mod b, removes something, the mods c, d dont use that item so np...but add e, it needs the item and crash..so it was b the culprit

and this is what can make debugging sometimes very very difficult..very often its the interaction between mods that can be a problem.

 

see it as a bucket with many mnay drops, at some time it overflows...but thats not just the last drops cause, all them drops contribute.

i would be very carefull saying this or that mod is bad.........

and oh yes smim can be a very heavy mod..adding soo much more triangles that all need to be rendered.

 

lemme say further, i have been a professional programmer so i do know a lil bit, just a lil.

Oh no no, if it sounded like I was bashing SMIM, I apologize. Far from it, SMIM is a great mod, and it's pretty much a staple. That's why I'm surprised that it seems to be, if nothing else, one of the main contributing factors. But as I said in my post to them, I'm sure it's some sort of compatibility issue, I just can't for the life of me figure out what. The other mods that I thought might conflict with SMIM I tried disabling, and that didn't fix it either. That's why I posted the mod list and crash report though, so someone could maybe help me make heads or tails of what was causing the CTDs. If it were just SMIM, I'm sure LOTS of people would have reported it by now, and it'd probably be fixed. But I don't know what the interaction is that was causing it either.

 

I don't think it's lag or running out of processing power though, as one of your paragraphs seem to suggest. Because nothing was lagging at all. On the contrary, the game was running as smooth as butter, far smoother than it ever did when modding the old version. It was just also crashing.
