Nexus Mod Manager Beta

Hello guys/girls, Ok, I am just about at my wits end with Nexus Mod Manager. I have uninstalled it so many times and reinstalled just that many more to get this error from popping up.

 

I download it. I install it. It asks to scan the games. It spends the next 30mins scanning all 6TB for the games it likes. It finds them all. I hit the green check mark on them all and the red X"s on the others. I click on Skyrim (vanilla) and now Skyrim SE

I go to Nexus. I find a mod I want. I go to the downloads page. I click on USE manager to install giant green button.

Nexus splash screen pops up. .01 seconds later the error comes up. We cannot verify the update.esm, please make sure you have Skyrim installed into the correct folder.

It is, the scan found the game. I am looking at the Update.esm *as I type this*, for both games. each one is installed onto two different HDD. Then I click OK, it asks me to choose the game I want to run NMM for. It will not recognize any skyrim game. Mod Manager works fine on Skyrim Vanilla. so I am not even trying to select vanilla Skyrim using NMM.

 

Is the Beta NMM toast? Or do I need to try to double install Mod Manager...virtually..somehow and have it, somehow look back to the physical drives...somehow.

 

I really have no idea whats going on. I even hand typed in the address for the Skyrim games, I have copied and pasted them them in. I have used note pad to copy them from and then into NMM address line, I even used Word to copy and paste the folder address from. think that my mouse is not copying correctly off the folder itself.

 

Any kind of direction will be so very appreciated...I really cant drink any more whiskey as this is so frustrating.

Hey all, can anyone help me? NMM Beta is not recognizing the update.esm zip file in my Skyrim SE data folder. I have run the verify integrity app from Steam. Game and data structure is just fine.

Its not just with Skyrim SE its with Vanilla Skyrim also that the NMM Beta is asking me to verify install and Update.esm is there.

Have you run the games yet? I know it sounds dumb, and I'm betting you already have, but I wanna make sure.
