Helgen Troubles! Please help!

Whenever I start a new game I am able to work my way all the way up to the helgen keep with absolutely no issues. Upon entering the keep and taking out the imperials (or stormcloaks) and getting the key, when I walk down the stairs and through the doorway where it triggers the roof collapsing, my game CTDs, I have adjusted my mod list to try and fix potential problems but nothing seems to work...any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT : Also I have attempted to install Alternative start and see if I could get around the part, but when I go into the cave and get Ralof and try to leave the cave, It CTDs like the other problem. I also attempted to go inside and leave the cave without ralof and it was fine. Something wrong with the Unbound/Helgen quest? Idk

did you try it without any mods at all, that the firts thing, ther eis nothing worng with that quest.

but dumping in a lot of mods is not going to work, unless you know what you are doing.

start vanilla and add mods maybe 3 at a time , check if it still runs..thats how you use mods safely......

Normally I would agree with you, but the game runs completely fine so long as I don't get involved in the Helgen quest at all, or involved in alternate start's helgen type quest.

there is nothing wrong with helgen and or quest, did it already 10+ time never had any problem there, but then again i use only 1 esp with changes i made myself, and not xxxxxxxxx mods that can cause troubels/bugs/cdt's
