itstheants
Im new to the Elder Scrolls games and skyrim is the first game I picked up. I love the mods and I can't get enough of it. But I have a problem, all the texture mods I download like Lush grass etc are working fine but when I download mods that import new items in to the game like arrowcrafting etc. it doesn't work. I download all mods with the nexus mod manger, should I not do that for these kind of mods? Any help would be appreciated because I really want to try out this new weapons of the third era mod, it looks amazing :woot:
K00L
Well have you checked to see that the mods are being enabled? Mods that add new things typically have a .esp file rather than just the meshes and textures. Go to the Skyrim Launcher and select data files. For the 3rd Era mod the esp should be "WeaponsOf3E-alpha.esp", make sure that is checked. If it does not appear in there first look in your c:\programfiles\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data folder to see if it is in there. If it is there, but not in the launcher data files menu go to your documents\my games\skyrim folder and edit the SkyrimPrefs file. Go all the way down and look under [Launcher]. Make sure this is like this: "bEnableFileSelection=1" (without quotes). If that doesn't help I don't know whats wrong. :PHeh and I use the ebony longsword from that mod. Its nice. Edited December 20, 2011 by K00L
