The game crashes at the loading screen each time I enter a building or fast travel. I don't want to abandon my playthrough (it would be the fourth one I abandon after dozens of hours). Here is my load order :

Generally, my install order on NMM, or my Load order for MO is something like this:
Skyrim
Update
Dawnguard
Hearthfire
Dragonborn
USLEEP
SKSE Scripts (make sure these are properly installed and if you don't have it, you better get it)
[Any mods that are utilities] (Bug fixes, safety load, better messagebox controls,...)
[Custom Body Meshes]
[Custom Body Textures]
[All other ESPs]
[Animations]
[Custom Skeleton](Xp32mse,...)
Alternate Start
Bashed Patch (If you are using Wrye Bash)
Dual Sheath Patch (if Using it)
RSPatch (Last almost always)

Once your mods are arranged this way, I run LOOT and let it set the priority of those it wants to in opposition to this load order. My game rarely ever crashes.

It could be a memory allocation issue. Ensure that you have an SKSE.ini, and if you don't, make one or download "SKSE for lazy users" from the nexus.

If you are using an ENB, make sure it is compatible with CoT. CoT doesn't play nicely with some things, and make sure that whenever you have a mod that deals with weather, you don't install the weather portion of the mod. I'm not sure if Frostfall has some elements of weather control in it, but you want Climates of Tamriel to do that for you..

Also, if you are using Mod Organizer, remember that the left pane should closely match the right LOOT sorted order. I usually sort in the above mentioned format for both the left and right panes, then sort with LOOT which organizes the right pane, then I match the left to the right. It keeps me from many crashes.
Don't lose hope, modding is a grueling experience, but once you get it down, you can start seeing some cool things.
