CyniclyPink
I'm getting quite irritated by new mods coming out for SSE with the same name as (or very similar to) well known familiar mods from original Skyrim. I get quite excited thinking one of my fav mods has been ported and it's a totally different mod by a different author. How is this allowed? It's confusing and unfair on the original author as it seems the new mod is "riding on the coat tails" of the old one. In other words getting downloaded by people thinking it's the original. It's really hard to find the good old mods being ported as well, as there are so many mods being put up that the originals are getting buried. A few I only found because someone had mentioned them in the posts of another mod I was looking at. OK *Rant Over*
SMB92
Well if this is really in practice, then yes it's dishonorable and immoral way to attract viewers, and if the mods have no substance then pure click-bait trolling. Lot of mods are bring" ported", by that I mean reupladed to SSE Nexus by their authors, basically in a Alpha/Beta state (hoping it will just work). Have patience, it always take some time before you see the good content dominating the top of the charts. That and get fixed :D
CyniclyPink
Thanks for your reply :) I'm finding the whole process (moving to SSE) quite painful. Think I'll stick to the old Skyrim for now. Too hard without supported MO, SKSE and SkyUI :D
