Install order/load order and ENB question.

Hello I have 68 mods covering these categories in NMM...

Animals, creatures, mounts & horses
Animation
Armour
Audio, sounds & music

Cities, Towns, Villages & Hamlets

Dungeons - vanilla

ENB preset

Environmental

Gameplay effects and changes

Immersion

Modders resources and tutorials

Models & textures

New lands

Overhauls

Patches

Unassigned

UI

Visuals & graphics

Weapons

I'm using RealVision ENB and I downloaded every other mod on the realvision page to get it looking like they did. It says to install those mods in a particular order which I will do but when do I install the ENB ? Does it even matter ?

And what kind of order would the above categories go into ?

Thanks.

EDIT - I have LOOT and TESVEDIT, I'll follow Gophers tutorial on youtube on how to use those, would I do that after everything is installed ?

I'm running almost 70mods now and the results look good.

Apart from being attacked by invisible enemies that kill me in one hit, but I turned immersive creatures off and that stopped, I'll re install later.

Also noticed that flowers wave about like the stem is on a rail, not fixed to one point.

Allow me to offer you the same advise that I've offered others regarding Load Order vs LOOT.

1) Start by sorting your mod list with LOOT

2) Do not trust LOOT

3) Go to the mod authors page and double check EVERYTHING yourself by hand

4) Step 3 is a pain in the royal ass

5) Without step 3 you wont know if LOOT caught everything, and IT DOES NOT

6) Use word or notepad and create your own masterlist as you are double checking your mods

7) Save your master list for future reference to compare against future LOOT sorting

8 ) I have done all of the above (and am still going through my list of nearly 200 mods)

9) There are some things LOOT simply will not catch, a good example of this is when using The People of Skyrim (TPoS) and Expanded Towns and Cities (ETaC). These are mods that LOOT will put in all sorts of crazy places, so much so that even the mod authors speak about how inaccurate LOOT is with these mods.

Trust me. Bite the bullet and try it my way. It is tedious, time comsuming and a royal pain...but will also guarantee you a much more stable game.

NOTE / Disclaimer: This advice should not be taken as me "hating" on LOOT. It is a great tool for what it is, however there are nearly 50,000 mods on the Nexus for Skyrim alone and LOOT cant be expected to know them all.
