I would say it's unneeded, but this patch has decreased my fps to 40 or so where I used to get 60. Something got messed up for me, and a number of others too. bben46 Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 The new Skyrim patch does indeed make the 4GB patch unneeded. However it also breaks SKSE, Dragon Script and many other things. SKSE will be up with a new version in a short while, I'm not sure about the update time of Dragon Script. The update also reset both of your ini files back to default. I hope you have a backup.
