rad666a
Ok, my character has 31% Shock Shield and 30% Shock resistance. My question is, how do they add together since they are listed separately in my character's effects page? There are two ways and they have significant effects on the math: #1: they add simply, and are applied together. Example: 31% Shock Shield + 30 Shock = 61% vs 35 points of shock damage = 13.65 points of damage #2: they are applied separately. Example: 31% Shock Shield vs 35 points of shock damage = 24.15 points of damage30% Shock vs the remaining 24.15 points of shock damage = 16.905 points of damage 13.65 or 16.905 depending on how they add, makes a difference. Anyone out there know (btw, if it's in the CS, I wouldn't know where to look)?
Abramul
Pretty sure they stack, although I'm not sure if Shock Shield is 1% resistance for one point of magnitude. Shame, really, since if the percentage acted on the current gap you wouldn't have chameleon suits or Mundane Bretons. EDIT: UESP's page indicates that it is 1% per point.
