Marcus Wolfe
For reasons I care not to discuss, I need to know the names of any pokemon that resemble raccoons. I got lost after the first 150, so does anybody else know? <Marcus Wolfe is now anticipating and preparing himself for the verbal abuse he will recieve for starting this topic...........>

Marcus Wolfe
Well, as far as I can tell, 5 year olds don't use these forums, but I really didn't know who to ask.
Vagrant0
Well, as far as I can tell, 5 year olds don't use these forums, but I really didn't know who to ask.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9monEnjoy... There's 493 of them, and no pictures. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Iron_Tail_%28move%29Might help narrow things down. Think it limits things to those pokemon who have tails or tail-like apendages. (there are pictures for most here) http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sen...Pok%C3%A9mon%29comes close? Just be careful, there seems to be ALOT more information out there than anyone sane would care to know. It almost makes a person forget that this is based on a series of videogames for kids. You've been warned. Dare I ask why you need such information? The despiration however is understandable. Even most Anime geeks don't want to touch anything pokemon just because of all the stigma that goes with it... Despite the multitude of philosophical concepts which are omnipresent throughout the series. People just focus on the simplistic way which it is presented and write it off as a childrens show. I'm not a fan of the series, I've just made it a point to understand it inspite its impact on cultural consciousness of anime in general and anything which may go along with it. kungfubellydancer
Personally I don't see what the problem is, besides that this sort of subject is questionable for this sort of forum, but he isn't disobeying any rules. Since I didn't bother complaining I googled the pokemon and found one that looked like a raccoon and gave him the corresponding name. No need to criticize, but then again, why would you ask this question here Mr. Wolfe? Personally I think googling images of cute animals is funner than criticizing, to me anyway. Besides, I gotta a boy on the way, lets see what kind of crap he'll concern himself over. Every parent should be knowledgeable of their kids' doings, right? That's because Marcus Wolfe here is renowned for creating stupid pointless threads and posts, did some necroposting and making childish comments. Anyways, Vargrant answered your stupid question, and hopefully there won't be any trolling/flaming here. Furthermore Marcus, like Vargrant said, you have been warned. I think not, judging from my 9 year old adopted brother. Anyhow, I suppose you all want to know why I needed to know. On a little website known as TheOtaku I am planning to create a quiz titled "Which Tanuki Are You?" (a Tanuki is a Japanese raccoon-dog, wikipedia it for more details) So I'm basically trying to make sure that the quiz results covers all possible Tanuki in anime. So Far:Hachiemon.-from Inuyasha Tony Tony Chopper-One Piece (actually it's a reindeer he turns into but he's mistaken for a Tanuki) The One-Tailed Shukaku - Naruto Pom Poko-the entire frigging movie was about Tanuki, so I'll just make a sort of pro-ecology Tanuki result for them Sentret and Zigzagoon-both from Pokemon Did I miss anyone? Jonlissla
That fox guy in Bleach (Komamuri something?)? He MIGHT be mistaken for a Tanuki. :whistling:

It will consume your soul and everything that you are.
