Saratje Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) Yeah, that crossed my mind too. So, to get back on the topic, how would a follower decide if he/she should use a skill potion? Obviously it should depend on her favorite skills/equipped items, but what about types of enemies? How strong must an enemy be so the potion wouldn't get wasted? Think-tank moment. Maybe meet a condition. If health is below 50%, use potions which increase their survivability: one-handed, two-handed, archery, light/heavy armour. As long as their stats meet a certain level. So they may drink a 'potion of the knight' with heavy-armour at 30/100, but they may refuse to drink a 'draught of the knight' until their heavy-armour is at 50/100. Pifanjr Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 But the skill potions for light/heavy armor are more efficient if you use them from the beginning.

It's a safety measure to prevent NPC's from drinking potions the moment they enter combat. I don't know how easily such can be scripted. I didn't go deep into scripting yet.
Pifanjr Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 You can at least check the level of the creature your follower is targeting and from any creature that hits your follower.
