softloader
Try setting an FPS cap at max 60fps. I had the same problem also with water constantly "stuttering" and that ugly noise. With the 60 fps cap it now works without problems - maybe that'll help you too.Try FPS Limiter, as I use that one too.

Burkabarbie
Hijacking this thread since I'm having the same issue and I'm 100% sure my game is running in 60 FPS. Double checked with FPS counter in my monitor and from Overwolf and I'm still getting the issue of loud banging sounds whenever I'm in a tavern or shops. It seems to be happening when somebody is leaning onto a counter etc. I used the nvidia tool to lock my fps in SSE to 60, turned off Gsync, running Skyrim without mods and I'm still getting the issue. I used the nvidia tool to lock FPS in order to stop the FPS stutter issue and started getting the issue with the loud noises inside buildings after that. If I'm forced to either have FPS stutter or the loud noices while inside I cant help but feel let down by the whole game and the remake, so if any kind souls on this forum has any idea on how i could fix it, it would be greatly appreciated. @softloader Where do you find the FPS limiter? I could give that a go but I cant find a version for SSE, only the normal one? Does that one work for SSE? Not sure if it'll fix anything either way since my FPS is already locked at 60, but wouldnt hurt trying it out. Thanks in advance.
softloader
@Burkabarbie: This is a quote from gaming.stackexchange.com:"The graphical enhancement mod ENBSeries can limit your FPS, if you set EnableFPSLimit=true and your desired FPS in FPSLimit=61.0 under [LIMITER] in enblocal.iniThe base game itself does not offer a (documented or discovered) way of limiting the FPS outside of enabling vsync and setting your monitor refresh rate to the desired amount (after making sure your monitor supports it, of course)."Especially for Skyrim SE I couldn't find the same FPS Limiter as for Skyrim 2011 Version. But I found this, maybe this one can help you too: Frame Rate Stutter Fix - Steady FPS Edited November 11, 2016 by softloader
