khalim91
Hi there, I have encountered several niggling issues here and there when using TESNexus (though I suppose they're present in all Nexus sites since they have more or less the same functionality). When logging in without specifying the username, I'm redirected to a site with "You have been logged in successfully" message - obviously not intended. Also, when re-logging in from a page with an error message or the aforementioned message, I receive the same error/the aforementioned message as before the login.I can't seem to include words enclosed in "<" and ">" characters in uploaded readmes in mod entries since, strangely enough, the words either disappear or "white out". Maybe it has something to do with HTML code, but that wouldn't make sense assuming the readmes are uploaded and viewed as plain .txt files. This may have been mentioned numerous times before - in mod entries, the images in the "preview area" (above) are unnaturally stretched, while in the Images section they are scaled properly. The image "stretchiness" is also present when performing search for files. When adding description for a file in the Files tab of a mod entry, everything's fine. If it contains apostrophes and I decide to edit the description, the apostrophes are suddenly preceded by a backslash. When I created a new mod entry and initially set the mod to be hidden from the public while allowing users to comment and create new topics, I noticed the comment thread was not auto-created by our beloved Site Bot, and the Discussions tab displayed this strange message (after I made the mod entry publicly available). I say strange since I don't see any button to start new discussion topic even though I allowed commenting and creating discussions for users. The "Add a comment" in the Comments tab displays just fine, though I'm not sure if others can add comments when no comment thread was auto-created. Are other users able to add a comment/create new discussion topic in this case? I searched for various topics regarding the missing comment thread, but the bug was apparently fixed. I'm not sure what I did wrong, though, for me the comment thread was just not created under the circumstances described. This problem is already fixed for me. Edit: Forgot to add another one:6. When editing attributes of a file I'm admin of, there's a checkbox saying "I would like to specify my own permissions in the "Permission instructions" text box below and not use the drop-down menus", but the text box referred to is labeled "Permission notes". Should probably have the same name so as to clear confusion. Edited February 21, 2012 by khalim91
83Willow
Hi khalim91! I have exactly the same problem with my new mod as you described in point 5: "When I created a new mod entry and initially set the mod to be hidden from the public while allowing users to comment and create new topics, I noticed the comment thread was not auto-created by our beloved Site Bot, and the Discussions tab displayed this strange message (after I made the mod entry publicly available). I'm not sure what I did wrong, though, for me the comment thread was just not created under the circumstances described." (Here is the link to my file: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4295) I hope somebody can solve this fast! I need comments! :( Yours, 83Willow
khalim91
Hi 83Willow, could you please tell me how you solved your problem? You seem to have it fixed already in your page. Thanks in advance. Edit: Nevermind, already fixed. Edited February 21, 2012 by khalim91
