GirlGamer55
So every time I save a file that worked fine last night, the god damn GECK crashes. EVERY TIME. It litteraly worked 5 hours ago. What changed so now it crashes!? Oh and tested it in game? No crashing. Now that really is messed up if the game will run it. davidlallen
Disk full or out of memory, probably. Geck is not terribly stable.
GirlGamer55
And what exactly fixes that?
davidlallen
Disk full: remove files. Out of memory: run fewer other programs at the same time.
Quetzlsacatanango
There are certain tasks you can do in geck where you know it will crash every time. So the answer to your question depends what you're doing when it crashes. If you're trying to preview the face of an NPC with glasses in their inventory - crashIf you renamed your esp to esm, then save it... twice - crashEditing dialog text with certain onboard sound drivers (and no mic installed) - crashOr it could be related to your last edit. If you are trying to render a cell that has an NPC with bad armor mesh, for example - crashI think you get the idea.
