Can't tell fired companions where to go

Prior to installing the official DLCs (which I purchased via Steam's holiday sale), and when I used Project Nevada in lieu of FOOK, I had no issues with telling companions where to go when I was done with them (the Luck 38). Now I don't get an option. I have full access to a fully upgraded Lucky 38 suite, but the only dialogue choice that shows up sends them to where I first found them. I tried installing Follower Home Marker to counteract this (plus I wanted to direct them to my Underground Hideout), but still no luck. Any tips?
