simout
I have a lot of mods and I want to know why do I crash to desktop like that. Does it have something to do with my load order ? Is it because some mods conflicts ? I cleaned the mods with Tes5Edit (Except those their author said not to). I get from 50-72 (goes higher without FPS limit). I've been dying to do a full playthrough of Skyrim but I can't because of all those crashes. My game looks fantastic , I just want to play without the fear of crashing at any moments. snelss0
Make sure when you download a mod, that you read the sections for installation, required files, recommended files, and the files for conflicts. What I see:1. [imV]LTTF.esm needs to be below Dragonborn as per instructions on his webpage.2. I would utilize the Unofficial Legendary Patch. It helps with some things like CTDs from Vanilla3. Make sure after you install any mod, you run LOOT and make sure you hit Apply after it is done sorting.4. Dance of Death is outdated, use Violens instead.5. Convenient Horses has a lot of incompatibility with some other mods, make sure you read anything that has to do with horse, mounted combat, or animal scripts to make sure they are compatible.6. CoT also has lots of conflicts with things. Make sure that you don't have any mods trying to create or make weather except approved ones. I know Truestorms and Supreme storms are fine, but anything similar to ELFX Weathers or something would be something you want to avoid.7. Ensure that you are using an SKSE.ini. I would get CTD all the time randomly until I popped that on.Also, general install order or load order of Mods me and others have found that this setup is pretty good for no (or few) ctdsSkyrimUpdateDawnguardHearthfireDragonbornUSLEEP[Other ESMs]SKSE Scripts (make sure these are properly installed and if you don't have it, you better get it)[Any mods that are utilities] (Bug fixes, safety load, better messagebox controls,...)[Custom Body Meshes][Custom Body Textures][All other ESPs] (armors, clothing, and pretty much anything else your mind can't fit into other catagories)[Animations][Custom Skeleton](Xp32mse,...)Alternate StartBashed Patch (If you are using Wrye Bash)Dual SheathOnce your mods are arranged this way, I run LOOT and let it set the priority of those it wants to in opposition to this load order. My game rarely ever crashes. If you are using Mod Organizer, make sure that you are sorting your left pane to match the right.1. Generally, I will sort both the left pane and right pane in the above mentioned order.2. Run LOOT3. Arrange the left pane to match the right, then put my textures for graphics such as SMIM in whatever order I want them to take priority on the left, leaving them in proper order on the right. This keeps me from CTDs.
snelss0
Also, keep in mind that skyrim essentially bakes scripts into your saves, so any time you move a mod or delete it, it can start screwing up your game. Some don't really affect it much, but some really do. So just get the setup you want and leave it alone, then start a new game. That is the best way to test to see if everything is working fine.
