southernbuilder
the graphic Card.... Here, I just bought this 8800GT 1 GB 300.00 with 40 mail in rebate..... Save yourself some money and even get bigger graphics card. And you can also over clock it...Palit 8800gt 1 GB its monster of card...http://images.tigerdirect.com/SkuImages/gallery/large/P458-1048-d.JPG monitor If want to spend 600 for.... go ahead, but If have Sam Club around you... Hit them up. Its where I got my Samsung 22 LCD for 279.00 there about..
Levee Breaker
I'm kind of weary of changing out the graphics card. I don't like OCing, personally. Also, I don't think there's a Sam's Club around me, but I'll have to look into it. Saving over $300 would be a life saver!
southernbuilder
My own isnt over clocked.... but just listed that choice, if one wanted to.... Hey, I know how it is trying to build your own PC. Save money where you can,.... very little helps. Also watch on those Mobo some have really good sound. You may not need Sound card right this moment. Sam's Club Online, same price as in the store. I also go a Bose Companion 3 Speaker System set for about 200.00 from there. That is something to think about....
Levee Breaker
Hmmm...I'll stick with my current speakers (Bose is good, but it's $100 more) and the 8800GT 1GB would be fine, but the GTS CAN be OCed, and get better performance. Especially with that cooler, I should have no problem OCing, but I don't think I'd want to. I'll check the store site out, though. I mean a $300 22" is an amazing deal! WITHTEETH
8800GT for $220 at Microcenter.com Also if you get a X38 mobo you get PCI-E 2.0, it would be better for future upgrades. Nice ram choice. Case recommendations: GIGABYTE 3D Aurora 570 , Antec P182
