Godrays + Fog = Too Bright Skyrim!

Hello everyone,

I really loved Skyrim Special Edition's new volumetric fog and godrays system. However, when these two combined, my game looks so bright that I can't even perceive what is going on in the game. Such as, in this quest where Alduin revives Sahloknir, nothing can be seen due to the excessive brightness.

I have tried to lower brightness in options but that didn't work at all. Still, TOO. MUCH. BRIGTHNESS. Then, I have disabled the godrays. It did worked, however, I do not want to play without godrays all the time. Anyone have suggestions?

PS: I have Vivid Weathers as weather mod.

Hi!

You might try to use a monitor calibration free program like Calibrize and lower the gamma slightly. And hopefully the Imaginator mod from Oldrim will be ported to SSE soon.

Thanks for your suggestion!

I do not like tweaking monitor calibration just for Skyrim. I guess, I have to wait Imaginator being ported.
