goranpaa
I can't say I have noticed that. But how much memory do you have for RAM and on the video card?

wim1234
should be ok, but beware of 4k hd tetxures.
goranpaa
Yeah, avoid the 4K mods. For trees and rocks and such big and huge objects, stay at 1K. Other and mid to small sized objects 2K. And settle for high as game setting. My old Radeon R9 270X 2 gb had some hard work in my modded Oldrim with quite many big 2K objects. Now, I have a R9 380 4gb and SSE is butter smooth with 2K mods. I have 12 gb of RAM btw. Also check out the amount of page file in the Windows control panel / system / advanced & performance and advanced / virtual memory. Let Windows handle the pagefile size, if its not allready set to this. A too small page file for Windows, will make the game crash. jones177
Hi I used a GTX 670 back in 2012 for Skyrim. I modded to the point that the game would only last 20 minutes between CTDs. I replaced it with a GTX 680 4gb & the same game would last for 6 hours. This was before I used memory mods. The original game used 1.7gbs vram & I averaged 2.7 with mods at the time I installed the 680. I would not be surprised if this game used more. Later.
