haldir307
I mean no one has issues with the textures so far on the original mod and game even when the textures are set from the desktop's path, but the issue i wrote on the third post, that issue still remains on the files i took from your link,i open the meshes, getting the same messages and the object is not there.EDIT:I made a test, i exported from meshes0.bsa the monkvarianthoodf_0.nif and monkvarianthoodf_1.nif, the same problem happens to the vanilla sse mesh!So this changes everything, or the problem are from those meshes or from the NifSkope.EDIT 2:So, i loaded the esp on the new ck and saved it, but in game everything is invisible except the quivers and it has 0 weight, the bows have a giant red triangle with a white ! in it.What now? zilav
No idea why you have problems even with vanilla meshes. You probably testing the wrong meshes in game thinking they are new or updated. happens when copying in the wrong folder, under a wrong name, or there are some plugins present later in load order that overwrite tested records and redirect to the wrong meshes. zilav
Well i guess this means i will never make my mods working on sse. :sad:Try the SSE NIF Optimizer released recently.
haldir307
I tried it out, it did what it did successfully and still the issue remains on the meshes.
zilav
I tried it out, it did what it did successfully and still the issue remains on the meshes. Then your meshes were probably broken from the start. I've seen meshes that were completely bad with mismatching partition/bone indexes and counts, and other crap, but original Skyrim somehow tolerated them. SSE turned out to be much more sensitive. haldir307
No no, they are ok as original skyrim meshes, check it out if you want:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56902/?but i do not know why is this happening on sse.
SydneyB
Haldir, try these steps: http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition#Bald_character_.28hair_mesh_not_rendering_in_game.29 I try fixing a hair mesh with only the two steps you've tried and it didn't work. But it worked with the 3 steps stated there and take from the reddit thread linked at the "source" section :)
steve40
I mean no one has issues with the textures so far on the original mod and game even when the textures are set from the desktop's path, Provided that you use Texture Swaps to override the texture paths set in meshes. Otherwise, any user that has their game installed into a non-default steamlibrary folder will have missing textures in their game.
steve40
So, i loaded the esp on the new ck and saved it, but in game everything is invisible except the quivers and it has 0 weight, the bows have a giant red triangle with a white ! in it.What now? Forget the stuff about triangulating strips and making skin partitions, and simply put each nif through Nifskope and try "Spells->Add Tangents and Update". That should make your meshes visible again. Any meshes that still have issues, you can try fixing strips and partitions if it is relevant to those meshes.
